I don't think it's silly to live life in a big way. It's brave to stop and linger in some pretty light. It's brave to be so madly in love it could be scripted. It's brave to feel deeply when the world insists on numbness. Joy is only made more important by a world so filled with hurt. It's not only ok to stop and romanticize your moments, it's completely necessary for living.

I'm Lynzee.
I'm Lynzee (she/her). I'm a central Michigan photographer, storyteller, and educator. For me, photography is about connection. Whether that's within the frame or between subject and viewer. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm teaching photography at Alma College, mentoring other creatives, and falling ever more in love with light.
I'm inspired by songs, poetry, movies...you name it. Stories are an innate part of being human and yours is unique to you. It's so important to draw creativity from all forms of art around us.

Lynzee is the best wedding photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with! I've stood up in quite a few weddings, one of which Lynzee photographed, and I knew from her easy-going manner, excellent eye, and ability to take the best photos at the quickest speed that she would have to be my wedding photographer. I'm going to start by saying that she is worth every penny. She gave us all that we could hope for in our wedding photos and more. She's willing to try out different lighting and poses and make the most of it, but also to get a solid batch of traditional photo styles too. She's also super chill, which is something you definitely want in a wedding vendor. Even when we ran into some chaotic timing day-of (it happens no matter how hard you plan), she made the most of it. During the wedding ceremony, I didn't even see her taking pictures, and those ended up being my favorites of the groups of photos that she took! I don't know how she did it!
